Hello, my wonderful friend! Today’s video and article are on the difference between chasing and pursuing women.
I’m going to let you in on a little bit of a secret: Knowing how to pursue a woman is key. The guys who get the girl are the guys who know how to pursue the right way.
So if you want to be the guy with the girl understanding this is critical. Not only will I be going over the difference between chasing and pursuing a woman but I’m also going to be teaching you what makes you look needy.

Alright, so let’s talk about the difference between chasing and pursuing a woman. There is actually a massive difference.
So many men think that pursuing doesn’t work. They think it’s too risky and I see why. There are some serious concerns there, right?
However, the problem is not understanding what pursuing really is. Once you understand the difference and you really understand how to pursue it’s a total game-changer.
So if you have felt like pursuing doesn’t work in the past these are the things you need to understand. So let’s start by first talking about pursuing.
Why Pursuing Women Works
If you have been following me for a while you know that I teach that pursuing is one of the best ways for you to increase your attraction, to appear more masculine with her, and have her see you as a masculine guy who she feels safe with.
It’s also an incredible way for you to boost your confidence. You may have also seen this video (This Makes A Women Think About You Non-Stop) on pursuing and why it’s so insanely effective.
So the question is: If pursuing is so crazy powerful what is pursuing? What does pursuing look like? I’m going to break it down for you.
At its very core what pursuing is is letting her know you are interested in a mature way. That’s it. That’s all pursuing is.
When you pursue the right way you have solid dating and relationship skills. And because you have those solid dating and relationship skills you understand how to communicate with her in a way that’s going to make her feel safe.
It’s going to make her feel like she can trust you, and it’s going to make her feel comfortable. When you have those skills then you just let her know that you’re interested in her. That’s it.
Both Men And Women Pursue
Now it’s important to know that pursuing is actually done by both men and women. I know, sounds a little surprising. But the truth is it’s done by both.
It looks a little bit different, men pursue differently than women, but women are totally pursuing.
A lot of men feel like they have to do all of the work. Interestingly though, science actually tells us that women make the first move. Yes, you heard it right, science tells us that women make the first move.
Now the way women do this is actually through their body language. Women show that they’re interested in men through what they say or how they position themselves or how they look at you.
That is how a woman is pursuing you and showing you she is interested in you.
Unfortunately, most women think they’re being incredibly obvious about showing you these signs that they’re interested because science tells us that women are actually better at picking up body language than men.
So she thinks she’s being really obvious even if to you it’s not really obvious. This is why learning how to read women’s body language is so important.

The bottom line though, pursuing is a two-way street. Both women and men pursue.
How Pursuing Works
So how pursuing should look, an ideal situation, is two people notice each other and they think they’re pretty cute and they’d like to get to know each other better.
Then, the woman starts sending signs that she’s interested in you by what she says or how she positions herself or how she looks at you.
And a man, if he’s able to pick up on those signs, then he makes a move. Be it approaching her, or if he’s known her for a while asking her out, whatever it looks like.
Then both of them together let each other know continually that they are interested, that they like each other, they both contribute to the relationship, and they’re both invested in the relationship.
This is what a healthy relationship looks like. This is what an ideal relationship looks like. Two people actively being invested in the relationship.
This is why having those solid dating and relationship skills is so important. It actually makes dating so much fun and so much easier. And it makes getting the girl of your dreams so much quicker.

Why Chasing Women Doesn’t Work
So now let’s move on to chasing. What does it mean to chase a girl and why is it not effective?
Now you may have seen this video (Once You Stop Caring… She Starts Chasing?) if you’ve been following me for a while. If you haven’t seen it yet check it out. It’s incredibly helpful.
Now if you did see that video this is going to look a little bit familiar and it’s a good refresher.
When someone is chasing one or the other you’re never close. Your relationship is never ever close because one is always chasing and the other is always running.
What a healthy and ideal relationship looks like are two people who are close to each other.
Two people who work as a team. Two people who care about each other. They’re moving towards each other. That’s why pursuing each other is so important.
What Happens When You Chase Women?
Now when you are doing the chasing she’s going to be running. And this will happen for one of two reasons:
Either one, she’s a player and she likes to play you. That happens sadly. That is true.
However, there’s a second reason and that’s that she’s scared. You are scaring her so she is running away.
Here’s the problem with chasing as opposed to pursuing: Chasing is seen as very aggressive by women.
It comes across as needy, it comes across as creepy, and it scares her so she runs. She doesn’t want to get to know you cause she’s scared.
Now chasing really just comes down to trying too hard. This is why having those solid dating and relationship skills is so important.
Because if you don’t know what you’re doing you just kind of desperately start trying things hoping it works because you really want someone to care about you.
And wanting someone to care about you is totally good, but if you don’t have those dating and relationship skills then you’re aggressive or your needy and it freaks her out.
So many men, because they don’t have those skills, they try to “man up” and try to just “make it happen.”
And what that does is it makes you appear even more aggressive, even more creepy, and scares her even more.
Examples Of Chasing Women
Some really good examples of chasing instead of pursuing are not taking no for an answer, trying to make her go out with you even when she has said no.
It’s trying to force her to like you, trying to force her to want to be in a relationship with you. It’s being jealous when she’s with other guys, and it’s like hovering around her not leaving her alone.
These things are chasing, it’s aggressive, it’s needy, it’s desperate. And frankly, it’s creepy and she is going to run away as long as you are doing those things.

What Makes You Appear Needy To Women?
Now speaking of needy, let’s talk about this for a second because I get so many questions about being needy.
What makes you appear needy is chasing versus pursuing.
But at its core, what really makes you appear needy is when you have to have someone in your life. You’re desperate, you have to have a relationship.
And this usually happens when someone’s self-worth and their self-image is based around being in a relationship.
They think that “if I could just get a girlfriend then I’d be confident.” Or “If I could just get a girlfriend then I’d be happy, then I’d be good enough.“
The truth is that’s not where happiness comes from. That’s not where confidence comes from.
That mindset makes someone very desperate and very needy because they have to have someone in their life instead of just wanting someone in their life.
In a healthy relationship, yes, someone totally adds to your happiness. But they can’t make you happy because that’s not something another person can do.
It’s totally normal and good to want that special someone in your life, but if you have to have it that’s what makes you needy. Does that make sense?
So what you need to do in this situation is you need to increase your feelings of self-worth and your confidence.
That’s what’s going to make you stop being needy and get the girl, instead of being needy and make her run away.
The Difference Between Chasing And Pursuing Women Recap
So the difference between chasing and pursuing a woman really just comes down to your mindset and your skills.
When you have those solid dating and relationship skills, you have confidence. You are no longer desperate, you are no longer needy, and you just understand how to make her feel comfortable.
And that’s what is really your foundation for that healthy relationship you are really wanting.
When you do not have those dating and relationship skills, that’s what makes you desperate.
Because you have no idea what works so you’re just trying everything you can think of. You’re just trying to “man up” and “make it happen” and none of those things are effective.
This is ultimately what causes her to run away instead of both of you get closer as a couple and really create that healthy relationship.
The Difference Between Chasing And Pursuing Women: What’s Next?
If you want to actually get the girl and if you want to stop wasting your time on dead-end relationships and stop having that rejection and that embarrassment, pursuing is key.
This is how you increase the attraction and really start to create that healthy relationship. You do this by learning the dating and relationship skills that you need.
